OCA Provides Collections Change Guidance

The Office of Court Administration has sent notice to all Texas Judges, Clerks, Court Administrators, and collection Program Staff informing them of activities related to the collection of monetary fines, fees and court costs in criminal cases. Rule revisions are currently in process as well as efforts to address national concerns with Collection of Monetary Penalties.
