Supreme Court exempts Truancy Cases from eFiling Mandate

The Supreme Court of Texas issued an order amending Rule 21 of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure to exempt truancy cases from the electronic filing mandate. The amendment is effective September 1, 2015, the date that truant conduct transitions from a criminal to a civil offense, which would have subjected the filings to the mandate.
