Indigent Defense Expenses

The Texas Indigent Defense Commission (TIDC) may be able to assist your county with funding indigent defense, recruiting attorneys, or updating your indigent defense plan. TIDC has received approximately $29 million to assist with OLS indigent defense costs and is helping to create indigent defense procedures pursuant to a recent Texas Supreme Court Order.
